Forum

The Forum is where most Bumper Improvement Proposals will begin, with the proposer laying out the details of their proposal and expected benefits. The Forum is designed to provide a place where specific discussions related to the protocol and associated updates can occur, including debate and in-depth critiquing by community members. As a result, it is recommended that a user who wishes to raise a proposal presents it in the Forum first, allowing other community members the chance to review, comment and suggest amendments where relevant.

A proposer can request forum members cast a (non-binding) vote, which is conducted off-chain via the Snapshot application, in order to gauge the sentiment relating to a specific proposal before it is formally introduced as an Initial Bumper Improvement Proposal (iBIP).
