How to Lock tokens in the Bumper DAO

In order to lock tokens, and gain bonus vBUMP, you must first Stake your tokens in the DAO. When activating a lock, all your currently staked tokens will be locked.

1. Visit the DAO dApp and connect your wallet. Select the Voting Wallet & Rewards tab

2. Click the Lock tab and click Lock Balance

3. Enter how long you wish to lock for

4. Confirm lock

5. Confirm transaction in your web3 wallet

6. Transaction confirmed! You’ve locked your tokens into the DAO.

Step by step walkthrough:

1. In the Bumper DAO dApp, make sure your wallet is connected and then select Voting Wallet & Rewards.

   
2. Click the Lock tab and then click Lock Balance

1. On the Lock screen, choose how long you wish to lock for. You can select a specific date using the calendar menu, or use one of the preset buttons to choose to lock for a week, 1,3 or 6 months, or 1 year, then click next.

1. On the confirmation page, click the checkbox then hit Confirm.

1. Approve the transaction in your Web3 wallet

1. Once the transaction has been confirmed on the blockchain, your BUMP tokens are now locked, and you have your bonus vBUMP voting power.
